TIPS TO PREPARE TO PURCHASE A HOME
Start by getting your finances in order. Work on your credit score and make sure it’s at least in the mid 600’s.
Save for the appropriate down payment you feel comfortable putting down on a home. There will also be some closing costs that you have to pay upfront so the more you can save the better.
Get pre-approved for a mortgage to determine how expensive of a home you can afford and get some familiarity with the monthly payment you are comfortable with.
Create a must have list of criteria and stick to it. It’s better to be patient and find the right home than purchase a home you want to upgrade from in a few years.
